Hallelujah! I've got a girly girl! With my third boy coming, there's a lot of pressure for Maya to be girly. (For my sake). Thankfully, she's showing several signs of girliness. My favorite is how she'll drape every single piece of jewelry she can get her hands on around her neck. The whole time she's doing this she's saying, "pretty, pretty." I love it! She also loves to put things into her purse. As you can see she's got a really nice gold purse that she inherited from her "stylish" Grandma Poll. (At least she tried really hard to be stylish. She definitely had her own ideas of what stylish was.) Maya also loves her babies. Every thing that even resembles a baby she'll hold up close to her and give it loves. And last but not least, she loves to look at herself in the mirror. She'll look at her reflection in the oven for long periods of time admiring herself. On the
flip side, it also makes me very grateful for my boys. I don't know if I could handle the emotions of another girl in the house. Between me and Maya I think there's enough estrogen to go around.
As a side note, my friend Stacy is on the last leg of her pregnancy and informed me and some other friends that she gets bored in the days and needs something to do. So she challenged all of us to do a blog every single day for 14 days. I am definitely up to the challenge. So here is my day one ladies!

Bitter Sweet
You know, Heath's death doesn't seem that important anymore now that the prophet has passed away. And it's amazing the feeling that I have when thinking about these two deaths. When thinking about Heath I get a sad, "poor Heath," kind of a feeling. But when I think of President Hinckley, I get a peaceful and happy kind of a feeling. How could I not knowing the fate of these two people. We all know what's next for President Hinckley, and I couldn't be happier for him. For Heath on the other hand, who knows what's in store for him. I am just so glad I have the gospel in my life that gives me this knowledge. It makes the passing away of the people that we love a lot easier. Yes, we miss these people and it's sad that they are gone, but at the same time what a wonderful thing for them, and it won't be too long until we see them again. I can only imagine President Hinckley and Marjorie's reunion. Doesn't that just make you all smile?! I can't wait for my own reunion with my mom.

It's a...?
I went to the doctor yesterday, and wouldn't you know it... I have a baby boy in my tummy. That's right everyone. I'm pregnant! I've tried keeping this a secret for a while now, but it's getting a bit hard. I'm to the point where people are saying, "Aleesha has put on a good 5-10 pounds." And don't we all just love stuff like that being said about us? So I guess I'll let the cat out of the bag and make the official announcement. So yes it's true, I'm having a boy. Which I'm actually quite excited about. At my last appointment 4 weeks ago I desperately wanted a girl. But the little legs were crossed and we weren't able to find out. Since then, I've had a change of heart and was kind of leaning towards having another boy. So in a way, it's a good thing we didn't find out what we were having when we were suppose to. I'm due July 9th. That makes me 16 weeks along. I'm over the morning sickness (but in my case it's night sickness). And now Matt and I have to come to an agreement on a name. I'll leave ya'll in suspense on the names we have picked out so far. Matt hates mine, and I hate his. We'll see who comes out victorious. Maybe I'll post a poll and see what everyone else thinks.

A Moment of Silence
I would just like everyone to have a brief moment of silence for the passing of one of my most favorite actors, Heath Ledger. I am still in shock over this. I love Heath and the movies that he's been in. One of my all time favorite movies is A Knights Tale. I also love 10 Things I Hate About You. He was also in a very special movie that somehow gets brought up at every friend get together we have. Brokeback Mountain. I never did see that, but it holds a special place in my heart because of all the jokes we've made about it. And although the Batman movie that he's in isn't out yet, I already love him in that. Has anyone seen the trailers for that movie? Heath is going to do an amazing job as the Joker. Well, I'm sure everyone is just as torn up about this as I am, and if you are in need of someone to talk to, I'm here. I'll miss you Heath.

Clutter
I once saw some sort of therapist or psychologist or something like that on Oprah that said when life isn't going the way you want it to, one thing you need to do is get rid of all the "clutter" in your life. Clutter can mean anything. You can take it literally, i.e. the clutter in my closet, my boys closet, the counter right when you walk in the house, etc, etc. Or it can be things that need to go in your life that are causing you stress in one way or another. For some reason my old blog layout gave me a bad feeling (clutter). Therefore, a new one was needed. This one makes me feel a lot better. I also threw away some candles whose smell made me want to vomit, yet it was sitting out in the open waiting for me to smell & get nauseous each and every day (clutter). I am also growing out my hair. This short hair do was fun and all, but it's had its day and now that day is over (clutter). Matt said that my long hair was the source of all my power. So I best be growing my power back!! Every day I am going to look for one more piece of "clutter" in my life that can be taken care of. Which by the way, I did clean out my boys closet a couple of days ago, and it feels so much better every time I go in there.

Blog Tag
So I was blog tagged quite a while ago but never did it. It was a little depressing to me that I only had one other person to tag, and the rules say that you have to tag 7 people. Well, just recently quite a few friends have joined the blogging world so I guess I can finally play blog tag.
Here are the rules:
1. Link to the person that tagged you, and post the rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 random and/or weird facts about yourself.
3. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post, and include links to their blogs.
4. Let each person know that they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
#1- I really love the 50's. I often think that I was born in the wrong era.
#2- To go along with #1, I have a huge crush on Elvis Presley. Luckily Matt has similar features as the King, or else we might not be married today. :)
#3- I've already confessed this before to a few people, but to those that don't know, I have a little phobia of the phone. My fear mostly comes when I have to make a phone call to someone else. My palms sweat and my heart starts to beat really fast.
#4- I was a former professional child model. I did runway, mannequin modeling (anyone remember that?), store ads, etc. My mom thought it would help my shyness a little bit. (Can you imagine me being shy?)
#5- To go along with #4, I am no longer shy. Quiet-yes, Shy-no.
#6- I have a phobia of people touching my eyebrows. It gives me the heebie jeebies to think of someone making them go the wrong way.
#7- I love to peel people's skin when it gets sunburned. It gives me great satisfaction to peel off a big old chunk of skin.
I'm tagging;
Jaclyn
Maria
Matt
Michelle
Monica

Some Awesome Moves!!!
It's been way too long since I've posted anything. As I was pondering what to post, of course the first thing that came to my mind was the ridiculous amount of snow that we have right now. But after looking at everyone else's blog, that seems to be the trend right now. So I'm going to go out of the box and post these awesome pictures. After all, this is basically what my days are like. A repeated conversation in my house goes like this.....
"Mom, check this out!"
"Cool Luke"
"Mom, check this one out!"
"Cool Luke"
"Mom, you gotta check this one out!"
"Cool Luke"
And it goes on and on. So I want ya'll to enjoy a little of what I enjoy every single day.
